Workshop 1
Stalking: From recognition to strategies for working with victims

- Although stalking is not a new behavioral pattern, it only began to gain visibility and be recognized as a specific form of interpersonal violence in some countries from the last decade of the 20th century, namely those of Anglo-Saxon origin. In Portugal, despite being studied since 2007, it only benefited from legal classification in 2015. It is a broad and multifaceted phenomenon, which may involve various behavioral manifestations, different installation contexts and different motivations. This workshop promotes knowledge about the dynamics of manifestation of this type of violence, but also about practical strategies for its effective combat, as well as support for the respective victims.

Workshop 2
Self-care what do I want you for? The key to well-being

- Self-care can be defined as the attention that a person devotes to himself, recognizing his basic and human needs, namely on a physical, mental and emotional level. In addition, it is characterized by being a regulatory human function, which each person must deliberately apply to maintain their quality of life, their state of health, development and well-being. When was the last time you stopped to think and eventually act on your self-care needs? What could you eventually do differently to promote your well-being? These and other reflections will be addressed in the context of this workshop.

Workshop 3
Harassment: from problems to action strategies

- The phenomenon of harassment has mobilized the interest and attention of several areas, from Law, Sociology, Communication, Medicine and Psychology, raising the debate on its definition, manifestations, impact and prevention and combat policies . Understood as a form of violence, harassment causes a significant impact on victims and entails high costs (individual, social, organizational), depriving or seriously limiting their fundamental rights. In Portugal, studies that have focused on harassment issues are scarce and with several limitations. We often witness the legitimization and devaluation of gender violence, which leads to underreporting of the problem and high black figures for a situation that, in Portugal, is not yet criminalized in the Penal Code. Policies to combat harassment in institutions have been vague or silent in guidelines and guidelines on these matters.
- The present workshop aims to promote knowledge about the dynamics of manifestation of this type of violence, but also about practical strategies for its effective combat, as well as support for the respective victims, giving examples of practical cases for a better understanding of the intervention process .
Workshop 4
Application of Mindfulness in Stress Reduction

- Workshop in collaboration with Projeto Inovar & Train Ulusophone
- Corresponding to the training of paying attention to the present moment, with gentleness and kindness, Mindfulness allows us to establish a new relationship with our experience in the here and now. Several studies have shown that its practice promotes the reduction of anxiety and stress, the reduction of depressive symptoms, and the increase in the quality of attention and concentration levels, ability to regulate emotions and problem solving.
- This workshop aims to introduce the core principles and core practices of Mindfulness, which are associated with greater levels of well-being and promote personal development and better levels of mental and physical health.
