Conference Cycle Shaping The Future Living Places (Act 1)
Workshop and conference on defining architectural and urban environments at Lusófona University
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The COST Action CitySenZ (CA23145) launches its international conference series titled Shaping the Future Living Places. Act 1 – Defining Architectural and Urban Ambiances will take place at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, from 30 June to 4 July, and includes two main moments:
- An international multidisciplinary workshop for early-career researchers (30 June to 2 July);
- An interdisciplinary scientific conference (3 and 4 July).
This initiative aims to explore the concept of ambiance in architectural and urban contexts, as a sensitive and complex approach to inhabited space. It will bring together researchers, creators, and professionals from fields such as architecture, urbanism, art, philosophy, cognitive sciences, and sensory technologies.
The event is structured as a space for experimentation, exchange, and debate, and launches a series of meetings that will take place in various European cities throughout the duration of the COST CitySenZ action.
