Step-by-step for candidates to convert their score:
Access to 1st cycle (undergraduate) courses is based on the ENEM score. The Portuguese grading scale ranges from 0 to 200, while ENEM’s scale ranges from 0 to 1000.
For ranking purposes, the ENEM scores are converted by dividing the obtained score by 5 (five).
Calculation of the application score for students with a valid ENEM (conversion to the Portuguese grading scale):
Final Score = Sum of the various ENEM components * Weighting * 200/1000
Example:
Application to the Integrated Master's in Architecture
ENEM Exam Components | Score | Weighting | Weighted Score |
---|---|---|---|
LING | 630 | 40% | 252 |
MAT | 500 | 40% | 200 |
RED | 960 | 20% | 192 |
Sum of weighted scores | 644 | ||
Final Score | 128.8 |
Final Score = (LING * 40% + MAT * 40% + RED * 20%) * 200 / 1000
=(630 * 40% + 500 * 40% + 960 * 20%) * 200 / 1000
=128.8
Note: Minimum final score for application: 95 points
