          Theoretical and practical Interpretation classes, with a view to preparing the actor for theater, cinema, television and audiovisual. With a very strong practical component, the classes develop not only technical acting skills but also knowledge of the actor's work in different professional contexts.

    Syllabus

    1 - Reading and analyzing small scenes in theater, television and cinema,proposed by the teacher, and watching them made by actors in a professional context. 2- Technical training consisting of different exercises aimed at the body, voice and emotion that promote the possibilities of physical, energetic and emotional expansion and containment. 3 -Long-term improvisation and contact improvisation exercises, with musical and scenographic- stimuli. 4- Individualized practical work based on monologues and dialogues for theater, television and cinema. The student has to define the character and artistic concept, present proposals to be worked on in class and present the final work, ready to be presented or filmed. 5- Written dossier presenting and defending practical work.

    Objectives

    Development and consolidation of the fundamental technical bases for the actor's work in different interpretation registers. It is intended that the student understands and accelerates: The expressive capabilities of the body and voice in the spaces of representation; control of time and rhythm; sensory memory and concentration; the management of physical and emotional energy; the ability to dissociate physical actions from voice and emotion; listening and reaction skills, creative imagination, autonomy and responsibility; ability to analyze the practical process.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The student will have a simulated professional experience, focusing on their autonomy and creativity. From the play or script and character profile on paper, to filming and viewing the scene. The student's individuality is stimulated as well as their knowledge of some emblematic interpretations of excellent actors while incorporating different points of view on the scene and the character and learning to take responsibility for their place in the complex artistic and technical gear of the theater and audio-visual medium.
