1. Management: Concept, functions and levels; Manager tasks and skills; Management evolution; Company environment; Planning and strategic management; Decision making; Organization and organizational structure; Determinants of structure; Authority, influence and power; Leadership and communication; Culture and organizational change. 2. Entrepreneurship: Characterization; The profile of the entrepreneur; Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Development; Intrapreneurship and social entrepreneurship; New trends in entrepreneurship; Identification of business opportunities and idea generation; Segmentation and positioning; Competitive advantages; Business mode development.

Objectives
Objectives
The main objectives of this curricular unit are: Introduce students to the fundamental concepts related to the organizations management; The acquisition of the theoretical bases that allow the understanding of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation study, and of the different conceptual approaches related to these themes today and in the future; The acquisition of concepts necessary for the development of the entrepreneurial process: from the idea to the creation of the business, its implementation and growth.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Classes will be theoretical-practical, using an expository and reflective methodology for the presentation and discussion of contents, later supported by a methodology and application of concepts acquired in case analysis with the objective of interpreting, filtering information, having critical sense and creativity. Students will discuss in class the topics covered and carry out group and individual work. The chosen methodology also aims to encourage students to actively participate in class, developing critical skills and their skills for a fruitful self-study. Continuous Assessment: behavior and participation (20% of the final grade), work and presentation (30%) and the test (50%).
