Theoretical and practical unit aimed at providing an understanding and practice of a campaign for a transmedia narrative applied to a fictional TV series project and its impact on new communication languages. With a focus on media convergence, interactive storytelling, and production methods distributed across multiple platforms. The goal is for students to understand how transmedia narratives can be developed across different media, expanding their reach and dissemination to various target audiences.

Syllabus
As áreas de intervenção escolhidas para o âmbito dos conteúdos programáticos abordados na disciplina, têm por objetivo abordar em aula as metodologias e técnicas da elaboração de uma campanha para uma narrativa transmedia aplicadas a um projeto de série de TV ficcional e do impacto nas novas linguagens de comunicação. Com foco na convergência de medias, storytelling interativo e métodos de produção distribuída por múltiplas plataformas. A avaliação da disciplina tem uma componente individual em que os alunos apresentam nos seus trabalhos uma análise de um projeto transmedia, e uma componente de equipa em que os aluno apresentamuma uma campanha para uma narrativa transmedia aplicadas a um projeto de série de TV ficciona, a avaliação será a soma destas duas componentes.

Learning Objectives: Define and characterise transmedia narrative. Understand the main concepts associated with transmedia narrative. Explore examples of transmedia narratives across different genres. Raise awareness of the various forms of transmedia production. Develop a transmedia plan for a fictional TV series project. Communicate the themes of the programme clearly and coherently. Apply transmedia strategies adapted to different platforms.
