    The demand for 3D specialists is growing, making this discipline relevant for the study cycle. This curricular unit aims to develop skills to create 3D images and animation. Students are challenged to explore 3D modeling and animation, acquiring a deep understanding of the techniques and tools inherent to building projects within audiovisual production. The 3D Atelier provides a solid foundation for facing job market challenges, promoting creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.

    Objectives

    This class aims to provide the knowledge and techniques to create photorealistic 3D images and animation. Using Blender software, it is proposed to develop the following skills: exploration and use of 3D modeling tools and techniques; creating UV maps; animation; lighting; creating materials and textures; rendering photo-realistic images and animations; post-production.

    Creation of support tutorials. Presentation of the subject matter through accompanied exercises. Project orientation and follow-up classes. UC centered around a project.
