The curricular unit "Digital Arts and Pre-Visualization" aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the use of generative AI in digital arts, focusing on the pre-production phase of filmmaking. This unit covers everything from creating storylines, synopses, and scripts to visualizing sets, characters, and environments using innovative digital tools. The field of action involves developing practical and creative skills essential for working on audiovisual and film projects. The areas of intervention include the use of AI in visual and narrative design contexts, aligning with emerging trends in the film and digital production industries. This unit is essential within the study cycle as it promotes an interdisciplinary approach, combining technical and creative knowledge, preparing students for the challenges of modern audiovisual production, both in the job market and in research projects.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The curricular unit employs innovative methodologies to support the teaching-learning process, with a focus on the use of Miro, a digital collaboration platform. Miro facilitates communication and project management for remote and distributed teams, allowing real-time collaboration. Through this platform, students can participate in interactive activities such as brainstorming, developing storyboards, and organizing visual ideas, promoting greater integration into the creative process. Miro also enables continuous feedback exchange between students and the instructor, creating a dynamic and collaborative learning environment, essential for developing the technical and creative skills needed for audiovisual production.
