This curricular unit aims to: - Provide students with communicational tools to enable them to express themselves effiiently, courteously and professionally in English, on topics and situations involving work and organizations, in general. - Develop vocabulary and fluency in English, in particular contexts of professional life, namely speaking on the phone (common situations). - Introduce students to short texts in English (from newspapers, magazines, information websites and blogs) on current topics. - Empower students to exchange points of view and opinions on a topic of their area of expertise in English.

Objectives
Objectives
The main skills to acquire are: The ability to communicate fluently, clearly and adequately in English, in situations related to work and organizations; The ability to speak on the phone in English, in a clear and well-structured manner, using vocabulary and language strategies that are suited to the situations and problems encountered. The ability to understand and interpret articles in English from various media. The ability to apply acquired knowledge to the discussion of ideas and proposals.
