1. Security and Communication: theoretical framework. 2. Institutions and public security policies. 3. Protocol and security. 4. The responsibility of the media and journalists in security. 5. The journalists' code of ethics. Sources, data protection and the principle of secrecy. 6. Global security and communication technologies: the strategic importance of Artificial Intelligence. 7. The main instruments of political communication at the service of internal security.

1. Define, frame and relate the concepts of Security, Politics and Communication. 2 Assess the role of the media and journalists in public and private security. 3 Identify the relationship between protocol and security. 4 Framing the security of the State and Institutions in today's new challenges: disinformation, Fake News and Artificial Intelligence.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The methods to be used will essentially be expository and interrogative, taking into account the nature of the subjects. The teaching techniques to be used will be: the exposition technique; the ice-breaker technique; the brainstorming technique; the case study technique; the group work technique and the debate technique.For continuous assessment - Occurrence Sheet and Observation Sheet. Assessment test with qualitative and quantitative measurement. The curricular unit will have continuous assessment with analysis of attendance and participation and 2 tests. The grade will be awarded according to the following parameters:Attendance and participation - 10% 2 Assessment tests - 90%
