This is the Course Unit that, more specifically, will seek to develop and exercise one of the essential objectives in student training: introducing habits, procedures, and research and planning techniques with scientific rigor and ethical and intellectual seriousness while stimulating the need and ingenuity to problematize reality, seeking to understand it better and better. According to these assumptions, the elaboration and evaluation of a research project carried out in groups (up to 6 groups per class) is justified, adapted to the 1st cycle of Bolonha, that is, a systematic and comprehensive work on a particular subject, detailed in treatment but not extensive in scope. The completion of the research project presupposes the accomplishment of bibliographic research that will define the theoretical rationale of the work, the definition of a method, data collection, analysis of results, and a discussion supported by the theoretical rationale. The projects should result from CIDEFES.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The work will be done in stages, with evaluation moments with external reviewers that simulate the peer-review process of science. The projects to be developed must be aligned with the research lines of CIDEFES, to substantiate the knowledge that students have of the research carried out at FEFD and thus be able to consider continuing their studies.”
