It aims for students to acquire pedagogical-professional knowledge, skills, habits, and capabilities necessary for conducting the teaching-learning process within the educational system, in relation to the cultural subject matter - Gymnastics.

1- Gymnastics Apparatus: Characteristics, Handling, Safety Measures 2- Bar - Fixed (Front support face up, Support back somersault, Support swings, Back support swing exits, Connection of various elements); Beam (Movements, Gymnastic elements, Jumps, Balances, Pivots, Forward rolls, Cartwheel, Entries, Exits, Connection of various elements); Mini-Trampoline: Jumps (extension; tucked; straddle, Vertical pirouette, Tucked front somersault, Tucked back somersault); Acrobatic G: Pairs, Trios; 3 - Safety and Risk Reduction in Intervention: Organization and Operation of a Class

Objectives
Objectives
1) To know, interpret and correctly apply scientific, pedagogical and didactic knowledge in the foundational activities of gymnastics, using appropriate language and terminology; 2) To acquire and apply knowledge related to methodological progressions, including knowledge of general and specific physical preparation, inherent to the correct execution of the gymnastic elements addressed in the didactics of the curricular unit; 3) To have basic notions of safety in practice and the correct use of the teacher's intervention methods.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies (TM) will be used: Demonstration, experimentation, and practical exercises; Pedagogical practices in simulated situations of planning, organization, and intervention in the context of teaching/learning; Resolution of practical cases; Small group activities; Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work developed.
