Rugby through its unique features, allows them to be experienced by the students a wide range of motor learning, promoting the interaction and integration of students, among them, school or club. Rugby promotes the inclusion and acceptance of difference, all are necessary, all are important, regardless of the cultural or physical characteristics of the genus. Rugby develops essential values such as humility, the spirit of sacrifice, responsibility, courage, creativity, team spirit, mutual assistance, discipline and respect. Therefore, it is a very important tool for the teacher on your global training.

Characterization of the Rugby game 1.1 History of Rugby in the world and in Portugal; 1.2 Rugby as collective mode of contact-differences and similarities with other collective sports games; 1.3 the game and your definition; 1.4 Regulation (laws of game); 1.5 composition of the team and your positioning in the field; 1.6 The variants of Rugby (7 Rugby, Tag Rugby, Rugby blue plate); 2. Pedagogical methods in teaching 2.1 Teaching/Educational Values; 2.2 understanding the logic of the game: the game the game organized anarchist; 2.3 logic of construction of one session/training; 2.4 the basics of the game (attack/defend) 3. Objectives
Provide the knowledge and practical skills relating to the teaching-learning process as regards: 1. to the knowledge of the main techniques, tactics and strategies of the game (know-how); 2. to your future educational intervention as professor and/or coach (centered in the teaching of Rugby to the child or young-know teaching); 3. to the knowledge of the methods used in the teaching-learning process of Rugby; 4. to the knowledge of the methods used in the Organization of evidence within the Youth Rugby; 5. to the knowledge of the main rules of the game and the field of terminology used in Rugby; 6. accountability, to strengthen and support the implementation of the sport in schools and clubs.

Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Demonstration, experimentation and practical exercise (ME1) Pedagogical practices in a simulated situation of planning, organization and intervention within the scope of teaching/learning (ME2) Resolution of practical cases (ME3), Visioning and discussion documentaries/videos (ME4), Small group activities (ME5), Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work carried out (ME6).
