It is intended that students analyze and understand essential aspects of the sporting experience in the light of sociology and, with this, that they acquire skills and competences for framing and understanding the action and social space where they will move within the scope of their professional activity.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Active Methodology: students are encouraged to take the initiative in searching for bibliography (articles in indexed journals, theses and dissertations) and data (produced and worked on by accredited institutions, INE, IPDJ, OECD, Eurofound, etc.), in order to later use the product of this research to develop a research project associated with one of the themes integrated into the syllabus of the course. An active and participatory approach to research is encouraged, underpinning debate and the construction of knowledge in class dynamics. The process will begin with a search on search engines (ScieLO, Science Direct; Scopus, PUBMED, B-on, etc.) with the aim of finding literature and statistical data to carry out the research project. It will develop over the course of the academic year with regular presentations on the development of the work where theoretical frameworks, statistical data, results and conclusions of the work carried out will be debated.
