Class Volleyball (Option II Modality - Sports Coaching)

Development of the necessary elements for scientific and pedagogical training in ¿¿sport training, combined with the indispensable acquisition of fundamental specific skills that correspond to the knowledge that the coach must possess to intervene competently in the global and highly complex process that is the training and preparation of volleyball athletes.

Classes are mostly theoretical and practical. Continuous assessment includes three components: a practical component (35% weighting), practice implementation, and coaching technique; a theoretical-practical component, assessment/diagnosis, practice framing, and planning (30% weighting); and a theoretical component (written exam, 35% weighting). Exam assessment will include a written/oral exam (50% weighting) and a theoretical and practical component (50% weighting). Students will have access to the communication support materials used by the teacher and supplementary materials (e.g., regulations) in Moodle. Skills will be developed in the use of freeware game observation and analysis software (Lince).
