  • Presentation

    Presentation

This Rugby course unit aims to equip students with the ethical, relational, pedagogical, and technical skills essential for the effective practice of professional activity, with a focus on training and competition. The goal is for future coaches to acquire the ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate athletes’ activities in both training and competition contexts, considering the different levels of the process: micro (training session), meso (intermediate period), and macro(annual planning). These skills require a solid understanding of the long-term athlete development process, as well as the appropriate use of methods for assessment, control, and monitoring of training and competition. In addition, students will develop game observation techniques, gain knowledge about the specific characteristics of each position, and build foundational understanding of different game models.
