Presentation
This Curricular Unit sets social psychology as a scientific discipline that seeks to understand the behavior of human beings within their social environment, at the levels of intra-individual and inter-individual analysis, complementing itself with the Curricular Unit of Psychology of Groups, which considers the intra-group and inter-group levels of analysis. By considering the interaction with “other people” as the focus of analysis, it also allows understanding how Psychology relates to other social sciences such as Anthropology and Sociology, bringing a unique perspective of understanding the psychological processes that mediate the person-context relationship.
