Objectives
- Know the main conceptions of Social Policy, the criticism and the current debate. - Understand the construction and development of the welfare state and the models present. - Acquire analysis tools that allow students to understand Social Policies as a dynamic mechanism of intervention in guaranteeing rights. - Learn to characterize the main conceptions of Social Policy bearing in mind the economic and social transformations and dynamics.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Interactive theoretical and practical classes with presentation of group work, aimed at deepening program themes. Practice of debates, thematic panels, simulations as a source of learning argumentation and orality. The evaluation will be continuous, valuing the attendance, punctuality and participation of students in the dynamics processed in class. Continuous evaluation assumes a total attendance of 75% and translates into the following elements: - Group work (based on texts provided by the teacher): 30% - 2 Individual written tests: 35% each Obtaining a weighted average (of the 3 elements) of less than 10 points, implies that the student has to go to an appeal exam.
