    S1: Deviance, sociology of deviance, crime, violence, administrative offence, misdemeanor, incivility. S2: The civilization process and the global risk society. Crime as a social product; S3: Sociological Explanatory Theories of Crime; S4: Deviance and gender.
  • Objectives

    Objectives

    LO1: Know the fundamentals of the sociology of deviance and deviant behaviors as social production in the light of the emergence of urban society; LO2: Know the state of the art in the field of the sociology of deviance and violence; LO3: Know the explanatory theories of crime and current debates in Sociology of Deviance; LO4: Develop the critical sense, scientifically based, in the global risk society, based on instruments of a sociological matrix; LO5: Develop an understanding of the issues related to the evolution of society in a context of risk and the search for appropriate responses by formal institutions.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Theoretical-practical classes. The continuous evaluation has the following moments: participation in classes (10%), oral presentation (20%) and a written test of frequency (70%).
