  • Objectives

    Objectives

    Introduce and develop basic concepts, improving the major instrumental methods of analysis of most interest in the context of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Focuses on the basic principles of instrumental analysis, as well as its applicability, criteria for selection and validation of methods and accreditation of laboratories. The course covers the theoretical foundations of methods, equipment and characteristics of use and analysis by spectroscopic methods and some of the thermal methods. These fundamentals allow the acquisition of competencies for the execution of chemical analyzes, making it possible to identify similarities and differences between methodologies, as well as the definition of strategies for the minimization of potential interferents in the analysis. The laboratory practices allow the development of technical skills fundamental to the execution of the analytical methods.
