    The seminar Supervision in High Performance Training is taught by a group of professionals with a recognized expertise in High Performance, who present different perspectives, contents and plans for analysis of functions, skills of the coach in the supervision of training and competition processes. Classes take place in an interactive seminar (divided into 4 modules), in which contents are developed and questions / problems are presented for different scenarios in which it is intended to analyze and reflect on the activity and profession of the sports coach.

    Syllabus

    Conceptual framework: expertise, expert coaches, supervision in high performance training, scientific research into coaches' behaviors; Sports coaches' skills. Different types of learning, skills and education; Vision of the future, typology and attitudes towards the future, prospective vision of the future and, phases of a prospective vision; Leadership. Coach status and role, coach authority, leadership styles, conflict management, personality, communication, commitments within the team; Methodological fundamentals for the selection, elaboration and development of instruments for the supervision in high performance training of players and teams; Performance indicators, techniques and technologies applied to supervision in high performance training; Practical examples of situations and simulation of sports scenarios in the supervision of high performance training.

    Reflect critically on the sports coach carrer in different roles and functions; Understand the coach education and necessary skills of the sports coach; Know the main tools and new market trends for the supervision in high performance training; Develop appropriate methodological tools and / or strategies for application as a means of diagnosis in training or competition situations for high performance training supervision; Define, plan and adapt intervention strategies in training processes according to the objectives and information collected; Critically and substantially analyze performance in training and competition, adapting models and strategies to the developmental status of athletes and teams.
