Project work involves the design, development and/or evaluation of an original application that reveals the skills acquired throughout the study cycle, through the development of diagnoses, the presentation of possible solution strategies and/or their evaluation . The starting point is the identification of a concrete problem, based on the diagnosis of a situation, through the choice of appropriate analytical methods, and proceeding to the survey of alternative solutions in order to make a justified and well-founded final choice, leading to the resolution of the problem.

1- Preparation of project work guided by professors from Universidade Lusófona and others, duly qualified. 2- Public act of defense of the project work before a jury appointed by the Scientific Council of the ECEO of the Lusófona University.

Objectives
The main skills to be developed are: Information management capacity. Capacity to organization and planning. Capacity for analysis and synthesis. Critical reasoning ability. Ability to solve problems. Ability to understand the language of other specialists. Ability to communicate with people who are not experts in the field. Ability to investigate. Capacity for autonomous learning and oral and written communication; Capacity for initiative and entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to adapt to new situations.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Students are accompanied in the preparation of the project by a supervisor. They use the most modern and sophisticated information and communication technologies. There are regular monthly meetings with the supervisors. Monthly meetings are also held with the course management and all teachers and students involved in this process, with a view to sharing experiences and incentives.
