    Objectives

    1. Understand labour market trends, emerging professions and the skills needed for the future, identifying challenges and opportunities. 2. Explore the main theoretical approaches and fundamental concepts that explain the behaviour of individuals and groups in organisations. 3. Investigate organisational diversity, analysing the socio-demographic characteristics, personality and skills of individuals, and how these variables influence organisational dynamics. 4. Apply motivation and satisfaction theories to promote empowerment and organisational commitment, improving employee performance and well-being. 5. Develop leadership, teamwork, effective communication and conflict resolution skills, essential for managing groups and teams. 6. Understand organisational structure, culture and climate, and develop strategies for implementing organisational change effectively, minimising resistance and promoting adaptation.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    This curricular unit consists of a theoretical component and a practical component. The theoretical The theoretical component is taught through the interactive expository method, as students are challenged to think about situations and find solutions to the problems presented, using a set of slides that address the various programmatic contents, videos and articles. In the practical component, the 'learning by doing' method is used, with special emphasis on the work developed by students throughout the classes, with various activities and case discussions. 1.
