Presentation
The UC is a theoretical and practical laboratory placing design and designers as active agents to imagine possible future scenarios based on publication and research, emphasizing the relationship between design and the contemporary and speculative concept of the Archive. The approach is deeply rooted in the contexts of design and the arts, considering elements such as the historical significance of visual materials (archives), cultural contexts and the dynamic interaction of social processes (geopolitics, geoaesthetics). We seek to explore complex solutions, thinking about a set of forums that are interconnected in their purposes and objectives, and articulate the ground for an inter-relational approach to the different UCs. From a group of guests (artists, designers, curators, researchers, etc.), content will be shared on a wide range of topics, highlighting a holistic view of Design.
