Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The course combines expository and active methodologies, centered on the students. The course adopts a teaching-learning methodology based on the presentation of theoretical content, accompanied by audiovisual materials with educational content (e.g. TedTalks, videos and podcasts with interviews with experts), as well as practical cases and quizzes. As part of the continuous assessment, an oral presentation of the critical review of each research article is made by a group of students, followed by a critical commentary of the same article by another group, then extended to the class, promoting debate between students. Continuous assessment is made up of 3 elements:1) a critical review of 2 scientific articles and a critical commentary on 2 articles, with an oral presentation; 2) an individual written assignment, with a pitch in class, to obtain feedback from peers and teachers 3) active participation in classroom activities.
