Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
This phase of the master's research is carried out with weekly tutorials by the supervisor to ensure that the student has intellectual support in the development of the research. This supervision ensures that dissertation document has the required quality to be defended and is in accordance with institutional standards. The evaluation of the theoretical and practical research work is carried out through public examinations and with a jury of 3 or more members whose training is strictly linked to the main scientific area of the study cycle or is relevant to the subject investigated. For this test, the student must prepare a presentation of the research, in summary form (20 min.) to present to the jury and the public in order to give context to those who are hearing, for the first time, what is being assessed. The preparation of the presentation must be carried out by the student, even if supervised, so that the student's autonomy and confidence in the work carried out can be assessed.
