Objectives
Advanced knowledge of legal regimes and policies in the field of environmental law and spatial planning, from the international, European and national perspectives, in the global framework of implementation of policies for environmental protection, territorial management and adaptation to climate change. Contribution to a paradigm shift, through law, in the integrated and sustainable management and governance of territories and communities of the present and the future.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical-practical classes and application of active learning methods. Evaluation through a final exam. Alternative (subject to approval by the Scientific Council): Elaboration of a final essay on one of the themes identified in the programme of the curricular unit. Maximum limit of 7,500 words in 1.5 space (body of the text, excluding bibliography), font Times New Roman, size 12 (75%); Oral presentation on the same theme (25%).
