Presentation
All the CU of the master's programme form a coherent whole and share some common objectives, in particular, the CU "Initiation to Professional Practice", "Didactics of Computer Science", and "Curriculum Planning and Assessment". In the CU “Initiation to Professional Practice” there is a progression of familiarization with professional practices, from the most general aspects to the more specific ones, namely those that are directly related to the teaching of Informatics and with the functions of the teacher of Informatics.

Objectives
Objectives
This CU aims to lead students to: a. acquire a vision of the school in a prospective sense in view of technological development; b. know the structure of the school system in Portugal and the offer in the area of Informatics; c. know the legal framework of teaching functions; d. acquire an insight into the profile of the IT teacher, namely in terms of teaching practice, class management and participation in the disciplinary group.
