This U.C. is intended to provide Master's students with the indispensable theoretical and technical training necessary for the development of research capabilities leading to the future organization of the Dissertation/Project/Internship. Thus, the contents to be developed cover the successive phases of how the research project is organized, implemented and evaluated, as well as the aim of providing students with the instruments and techniques necessary for any investigation. This U.C. It thus appears to be relevant both for the development of the dissertation and for providing instruments and techniques that students can use within the scope of other UCs.

Objectives
Objectives
After completing this course, master's students should be able to: 1. Provide a set of concepts, techniques and approaches, as well as understanding of the principle questions raised, both in elaborating the proposal and in structuring and carrying out of the investigatory work leading to the Master Dissertation; 2. Supply knowledge about the main strategies to be adopted in different paradigms of investigation in the scientific area of marketing, 3. Acquire knowledge and methodological and technical competences necessary for elaboration and operationalization of an investigatory project or study, 4. Distinguish the typology and approaches of scientific investigation, 5. Become aware of some techniques of quantitative and qualitative data analysis applicable in investigations in the scientific area of Tourism management, Acquire and operationalize the basic knowledge necessary to carry out registering and treatment of information obtained.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The online distance learning methodology is based on student-centered learning, with a primacy on flexibility, with a primacy on interaction and with a principle on digital inclusion. These guidelines guide the organization of the entire teaching-learning process, guide the role of the student and teacher, the planning, design and management of learning activities to be proposed to students, the typology of materials to be developed and the nature of the assessment of acquired skills, with the following distribution: Synchronous (TP): Virtual class, Discussion forum, Tutoring session, and evaluation hours distributed by oral presentation and reports or tests. The hours of asynchronous work are also distributed in the analysis of scientific articles/works, analysis of materials in digital format, simulation and quizzes. Autonomous work is divided into autonomous research and required reading.
