International Legal Relations constitute an independent scientific field within the social sciences that focuses on the apprehension by law of the relations between States and between States and other institutions that belong to the international system. Given the complementarity with the teaching of Public International Law, the emphasis will be placed on the problematization and contextualization of the international reality, in order to address, around the key notions of peace and justice, several structuring themes of International Relations according to the debates raised during classes (terrorism, proliferation of nuclear weapons, migration and refugees, climate change, unilateralism vs. multilateralism, democracy vs. populism and authoritarianism...).
