  The following may apply for the Doctoral Programme: a) People who hold a master's degree or legal equivalent degree; b) People who hold a B.A., people who have an especially relevant school or scientific curriculum that is acknowledged as certifying capacity to obtain this study cycle by the Doctoral Programme's Scientific Committee; c) People who have a school, scientific and professional curriculum that is acknowledged as certifying capacity to obtain this study cycle by the Doctoral Programme¿s Scientific Committee.

  Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired

  With the award of the degree of Doctor of Physical Education and sport, students must: To demonstrate a systematic knowledge in one specialty of the Doctorate programme in Physical Education and Sport (¿Teaching of Physical Education and Sport¿ or ¿Physical Activity and Health ") and master models, methodologies and research techniques associated with this area of knowledge and to their specialties; To display the ability to conceive, design and deliver a significant and innovative research in Physical Education and Sport; To contribute, through original research, to expand the frontiers of the knowledge in Physical Education and Sport, which is recognized by the publication of research outputs in international journals with referees; To show competences that could enable their integration in different professional or academic contexts as promoters and holders of high specialization.
