Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Classes are theoretical-practical. In the theoretical parts, essential concepts, principles and theories about command and leadership are presented. In the practical parts, debate is promoted on case studies that illustrate the subject matter dealt with in theoretical classes, the reality of organizations in the context of Civil Protection, as well as the orientation of individual works that will later be presented and debated. Still, in practical practices, students are placed before case studies in national and international context for the identification and development of skills associated with Civil Protection.
The evaluation of students is carried out in accordance with the university's evaluation regulation and, with the following evaluation moments: Continuous Evaluation (presence in classes, participation in classes and presentation of individual works) (30%); a Final Group Work [written (50%) and presented in class (20%)].
