Yoga is a practical philosophy of life aimed at balance, psycho-physiological development and bringing the human being to an expanded state of consciousness that provides self-knowledge. Yoga improves the management of stress and emotions, produces well-being, increases health, generates longevity, develops personal capacities and improves personal and professional performance. Given that it has been popularised in the West for over 100 years, there is an urgent need to inform and train people about the good practices and technical potential of this methodology. The growing interest in Yoga has led to this course being created to approach the public in general and those interested in particular, whether they are lay people, future trainees or professionals in this area or others who want to acquire subsequent academic degrees.
