Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
On a day dedicated to discovering higher education, on 10 April, Lusófona University welcomed secondary school students to take part in workshops promoted by the undergraduate degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Digital Animation.
In the session led by the Pharmaceutical Sciences degree, under the theme "From idea to cure: how do medicines emerge?", participants followed the drug development journey, from the initial phase to market launch. The activity provided insight into the scientific rigour and social importance of this field, helping to demystify the process of medicine creation.
The Digital Animation degree hosted the workshop "One Step per Frame", which combined an informal talk on what it means to study animation with a visit to the university's studios. Students were introduced to how the course operates, the resources available, and had the chance to watch some of the best films produced by current students, gaining a concrete vision of the animation world.
Through these initiatives, Lusófona University provided an initial direct contact with academic life, helping young people explore potential pathways for their academic and professional futures.
