
Risks, Effects and Prevention of Asbestos in Lecture at Lusófona University
Event open to the academic community of the Faculty of Engineering attracted students and lecturers from the Environmental and Civil Engineering
10.06.23 - 15h29On 7 June, the Faculty of Engineering at Lusófona University hosted a lecture on ‘The Importance of Asbestos in Various Contexts’, given by a specialist from the Institute of Welding and Quality (ISQ). The event, which was attended by several teachers and students from the environmental and civil engineering fields, highlighted the importance of asbestos in multiple sectors, addressing the challenges and precautions associated with its use.
Open to the entire FE academic community, the lecture provided an in-depth overview of the impacts of asbestos on construction and public health, promoting an enriching debate among the participants.
