ULusófona Promotes Mental Health and Well-Being of the Educational Community
Innovative project offers psychology, health, training and research services, promoting a healthy and balanced academic and professional environment
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
At Universidade Lusófona, we are committed to promoting the mental health, well-being and skills of our students, teachers and employees. We recognize that mental health is a fundamental aspect of each individual's academic and personal life.
Through the SPIC Project – Psychology, Innovation and Knowledge Service, we aim to promote the psychological well-being and skills of the Educational Community, extending this mission to the network of social and organizational partners. Through psychological intervention, health promotion, training and research activities, we seek to create a healthier and more balanced academic and professional environment.
We recognize that psychological approaches in higher education have evolved over time, encompassing not only individual counseling, but also collaborative consultancy and integration with the external community. Thus, the SPIC Project seeks to provide an increasingly global, preventive and promotional service, contributing to development and well-being at an individual, collective and organizational level.
With different teams of specialists in Psychology and Psychiatry, both at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário Lisboa and Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário Porto, they work in full coordination to meet the specific needs of each individual.
