Objectives
Objectives
Initiation of matters related to the study of human and functional requirements of buildings in terms of safety, health, comfort, satisfaction and economics. Regulatory Application of the matters listed, including: characteristics of thermal and acoustic insulation of buildings and fire safety in buildings. Development of knowledge in the fields of hygrothermal, natural ventilation, acoustics, fire and natural light and its application in different project areas.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The practical classes will consist of the exposure of the theoretical matter backed by PowerPoint presentations, in solving practical exercises and presentation of examples related to the theoretical material taught. Derived classes sequentially in time, there will be a strict separation between the two parties, resulting in the resolution of practical exercises following the theoretical explanations. Continuous evaluation: Three tests to perform along the semester (40%+30%+30%). Exam: Exam (100%). Approval requirements in the discipline: Final grade equal to or above 10. The grade improvement is only allowed for taking appeal.
