Begin familiarization with the studio environment and all its components, creating work methods both individually and in groups, with the aim of better understanding artificial lighting. Develop the capabilities of observation and identification of the photographic variables necessary to carry out a photograph, promoting the preview and the preparation and production capabilities of a given photograph. Understand and apply basic principles of composition, namely the adaptation of focal distances from objective to precise objectives, the visualization of objects and people, analyzing the images in function of their effect on the observer. Understand photographic composition as an operation on a two-dimensional plane (with a suggestion of three-dimensionality) and learn to work with the structural elements of visual language. Objectives
Objectives
This discipline should be understood as a dynamic course of apprehension of a subject to be mastered through knowledge, with the specific equipment as an aid. Attention is drawn to the fact that the mastery of equipment is intimately connected with a mental structure based on knowledge through experimentation and study. Acquire and develop general skills in studio photography. Students will learn how to optimize work processes for the ultimate goal, be it print or Web. They will acquire capabilities to perform a diverse set of tasks inherent in the digital photographic process. Develop a working methodology. Develop a coherent portfolio in digital photography, collecting information relevant to its design.
