This Curriculum Unit aims at imparting the students essencial knowledge regarding the legal regime of the main civil and commercial contracts, taking into account the specific regime of contracts celebrated with consumers. The theoretical and practical issues related to the syllabus contents will be analysed by resort to critical thinking and presented according to the relevant legal, jurisprudential and case law sources, aiming at conveying to the students solid legal knowledge, with a view to preparing them for the future fulfilment of legal professions.

Objectives
The scope of this Curriculum Unit is to enable students to apply the imparted knowledge and acquire the ability to solve cases in classic or unfamiliar scenarios within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to the area of contract law.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Contract drafting, simulation/role-playing contractual litigation. Analysis of the subject matter in light of domestic law, international commerce, and European contract and consumer law.
