Objectives
Objectives
This curricular unit aims to: 1. Identify a set of particularities related to the specificity of the modality, as a youth and high-level performance sport, instilling the demand and gathering of information as a source of complementary knowledge; 2. To provide students with knowledge about the Theory and Methodology of Football Training, according to the performance indicators and methodological areas of programming, planning, conducting and evaluating the training process and the management of the competition; 3. The formative stages of training provide for formal sessions with sports agents from different areas of intervention. Therefore, it is intended that students: Acquire, perfect and master the reflexive and decisive abilities in the face of the problems involved in the preparation of sports and in the training and competition of teams and Football players and from formal sessions with sports agents.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies will be used: Demonstration, experimentation and practical exercise; Pedagogical practices in a simulated situation of planning, organization and intervention in the context of teaching/learning; Resolution of practical cases; Watching and discussing videos; Small-group activities; Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work carried out.
