  • Objectives

    Objectives

LO1. Know the specificities of quantitative methodologies and apply knowledge related to the scientific method in the elaboration of a research plan. LO2. Formulate research goals and hypotheses, and identify and select the variables under study. LO3. Compare and weight the available statistical analyses according to the objectives, hypotheses and metric typology of the variables LO4. Develop and methodologically justify an analysis plan in order to guarantee the adequate achievement of the study objectives. LO5. Perform univariate and multivariate analyses using SPSS. LO6. Write the results of statistical procedures in accordance with scientific writing standards (i.e., APA). LO7. Adequately interpret the results and derive from them an integrated synthesis of the main conclusions LO8. Identify the study methodological limitations and its implications to the results obtained.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

Teaching methodologies(ME): expository moments(ME1), group activities (ME2), videos(ME3), practical tasks(ME4), feedback(ME5), and bibliographic research(ME6). UC has continuous assessment and face-to-face. The proposed and described teaching methodologies integrate a set of pedagogical innovation practices based on evidence, and adjusted to the objectives and contents of the curricular unit.
