The Introduction to Sound Design UC aims to broaden and raise awareness of students' knowledge during the 1st cycle of studies in the field of sound arts. The sound aspect applied to the development of content for multimedia applications and video games is increasingly preferable not in its communicational aspect, but also following a technological evolution of resources and consequent integration and interaction techniques with users. In this sense, in this phase, the UC defines students for concepts, production pipelines, techniques and state of the art technology in the domain of sound design for interactive media applications.
