Syllabus
Drawing from life and drawing from memory; the images of the drawing; what we see, what we know and what we draw; visual sensors, perception and cognition; drawing from sight and by hand; inverted drawing; full and empty spaces; blind drawing and blind perception; perceptual image and graphic representation; drawing machines and photography; tonal values and contour drawing. The Graphic Dairy; intuition versus reason: diagrammatic drawing and measured drawing; drawing with discipline; size and distance; proportion and scale; expertise and operational specification of sketches; sketch and study (detail); contour and inner contour; the absence of the line: direct stain and tonal values; instruments and props; dry media and liquid media; representation systems: systems and non systems; conical perspective; the axonometric systems; plans, sections and elevations; infography; atmospheric perspective; analysis of volume; hatching and cross hatching; constructed objects and organic objects

Objectives
Objectives
The course Drawing 1.1, by promoting the observation of reality, its representation and the reflection on the images produced, aims to: develop observation and perceptual acuity for the different ways of drawing; promote dexterity in handling different tools and drawing techniques; create conditions for the student to take the act of drawing and designing with knowledge, agility and security, developing skills of understanding, mastery and ability to select the different ways of drawing depending on the goals outlined; sensitize students to the importance of the heritage of drawing and architecture; know, master and learn to apply the basic terminology of drawing.
