Syllabus
Project definition. Theoretical justification for the project. Creation of an empirical corpus. Concepts, theories and methods to be applied to the analysis of the corpus. Project sources. The formal plan. The dissertation should contain: Analysis and critical interpretation of the scientific literature relating to the chosen problem in order to establish a state of the question; Formulation of a problem or a relevant question, so that, through scientifically validated methodologies, the degree of knowledge about the chosen problem can be improved; Collecting, analyzing and processing data; Writing the dissertation in accordance with the discipline's writing canons.

Objectives
Objectives
Writting a dissertation. The aim is to provide students with the skills they need through individual supervision to develop a core problem that will constitute their dissertation. The aim of this course is to provide students with the essential theoretical tools that are used methodologically, both in terms of heuristics and object delimitation. Precise indications will also be given regarding the selection of bibliography, methodology and the selection of empirical material, if applicable, to be dealt with during the research leading to the dissertation.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Personal research work carried out by the candidate, based on periodic joint reflection sessions with the supervisor. There will be five intermediate meetings between students and the teaching staff of the study cycle, non-evaluative. First, an initial presentation of the dissertation project. And four subsequent moments to monitor the work's progress. Students must attend at least two of the four subsequent sessions.
