Objectives
Objectives
At the end of this UC, the student should be able to: - Plan, implement and monitor the evaluation of an internal quality assurance system of an educational institution, following the guardianship's guiding procedures and its continuous improvement plan; - Recognize and manage the implementation of management and quality assurance models (ISO, EFQM, CAF) to the specificities of educational administration, within the scope of internal and external evaluation processes; - Articulate the quality management of the educational institution with other performance management processes (e.g. teaching performance evaluation); - Communicate your plans and intentional actions within the scope of the gratia of quality and the principle of continuous improvement to the different interlocutors of the educational community.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Student-centered learning models are favored. Classes will be organized in such a way as to intersperse the theoretical dimension, for knowledge and analysis of quality management and school evaluation models, and the practical dimension, for the design, in small groups, of a proposal for an internal guarantee system quality management, based on performance management, for an educational organization, based on a model of promoting continuous improvement. Students will select a group of schools that have been subjected to external evaluation by IGE. They will prepare group work (consisting of the design of an internal evaluation strategy, based on the CAF model applied to education) and an individual reflection (which will explain the main learnings achieved and the main benefits that such learning could bring to future performance of its function).
