Part I/ Research methods (oficina juris) . Some problems: 1. Research planning: the choice of the subject-matter and the bibliographical research. 2. The general scheme (internal and external configuration) and the choice of the subject-matter; the circularity of the text. 3. The bibliographic treatment. 4. The ethical dimension of the intended insvestigation. The originality and the problem of plagiarism. 5. Ethics in the commentary on jurisprudence. Part II/ Introduction/ Law and the discours of Methods. Legal methodology and the challenges of contemporary legal thinking: 1. Is a ' Legal Method ' today possible? And useful and necessary?... 2. The plurality of legally relevant interpretative communities and the types of rationality. 3. The problem of jurisdictional adjudication methodologically conceived. The outcomes of interpretation.

Objectives
Objectives
Firstly, students are supposed to learn to know how to do scientific work. Secondly, they will reflet and understand the role of the judge (and his/her modus operandi) in our present circumstances and to develop their ability to conduct academic research. Finally, they will be able to consolidate or refound a specific culture in that level in the community.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
According to the sequence of topics to be covered, the classes evolve through the following phases (in-person): Phase 1) The presentation by the professor and students is oriented to the subject to be taught. Phase 2) The theoretical and dialogue models follow each other. Phase 3) Class direction is inspired by the principles of applied group psychology and the Flipped Classroom model. Phase 4) Presentation and discussion of curricular working-papers projects. Phase 5) Working-papers are uploaded to the Moodle platform and evaluated.
