Objectives
Objectives
The strategic objective of the curricular unit is to provide the student with an advanced knowledge in the domains of territory, heritage and ecology. The achievement of this strategic objective is based on three operational objectives: the development of a teaching and learning activity based on the most recent advances in scientific research and on the international debate on these three areas of knowledge; the structuring of a teaching activity informed by the main aspects, substantive and procedural, of the professional practice that is currently being developed in Portugal; and the implementation of a theoretical-practical program with a comprehensive nature – from the territory to the public space and the building – with relevance for the development of the design component.
