Class Law

In this curricular unit, students are exposed to a combination of theoretical and technical knowledge that will make them question the entire creative and production process, leading them to plan and detail their project, from the original idea to the circulation of the final film object. In addition, this CU promotes debate, the resolution of issues, creativity and the boundaries between the ideal and the real. All the legal, ethical, critical and creative aspects are explored, as well as the ability to solve complex problems, which are crucial in any professional field. The relevance of this subject in the study cycle lies in its ability to provide students with a solid base of knowledge and processes for using and licensing works and images, preparing them to face the challenges and demands of the audiovisual market, both as authors and as users of works.

This course is designed to promote the practical application of theoretical concepts and the development of students' skills.  Thus, the lectures present the theoretical concepts and their practical applications in cross-cutting projects, mainly through the analysis of case studies and/or practical exercises monitored in class.
