The Curricular Unit of Digital Technologies Applied to Tourism aims to promote and deepen knowledge in terms of technologies and information systems, allowing to expand the capacity of understanding about its functioning and importance for the tourism sector. In this curricular unit are addressed the fundamental concepts related to this area of knowledge, its application and framework in this sector. Technologies and information systems are particularly relevant in a sector of the economy that increasingly depends on the digital literacy of its professionals, not only in terms of back-office and front-office needs,but also on the digital relationship with markets and their customers.
