Beginning of the Composting Process at Lusófona University
During the months of April and May, the students of the council and the coordination of Eco-Escolas FE had the opportunity to carry out the replanting of new species in the small biological garden on the Campus. Associated with this activity, the composting process was also started, with the implementation of a composter next to the vegetable garden, which aims to value the organic waste that is produced in large quantities in the canteens of the Campus and transform it into rich compost in nutrients, suitable for fertilizing the organic vegetable garden.
